USNA Class of 1977 Reunion Info

The United States Naval Academy Class of 1977 will be holding its 30th reunion on September 13 - 16, 2007. Planned activities include:

• A class golf tournament at the Naval Academy golf course on Thursday, September 13, 2007.
• A formal dinner-dance at the Annapolis Marriot on the Annapolis waterfront on Friday evening, September 14, 2007 from 1900 - 2330. There's a great menu, a cash bar and a DJ. Busses will be provided to and from the event.
• A class tailgate party at Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 1200-2100. There will be stationary & passed hors d’oeuveres, a grill & buffet, dessert display, and an open bar. Bussses will also be provided to and from the hotels.
• Attendance at the Navy - Ball State Football game on Saturday, September 15, 2007. Our tailgate party will be held inside the stadium, therefore a game ticket will be required for all attendees at the tailgate party.

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Annapolis Marriott and at the Annapolis Sheraton. hotel reservations can be made at the Marriott Waterfront at 410-268-7555 or the Annapolis Sheraton at 410-266-3131. Be sure and mention that you are with the Class of '77. If you do not, you will be told that the hotels are full. The block of rooms are good thru 8/14/2007. After that date all unused rooms are available to the general public. So make your reservations now.

On-Line registration for reunion events is now available at the USNA Alumni Association web site. If you don't already have a log-in ID with the Alumni Association, you'll have to register there first. It's easy, and free! If you registered sometime in the past and can't remember your log-in details, there are instructions at the Alumni site on how to recover your log-in credentials so you can register for the reunion activities. A special memorabilia item will be presented to each classmate who registers. Regular announcements will be made in coming editions of Shipmate, as well as in our News section here on the class web site.
